Animyx ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Animyx sprite generation platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. By using Animyx, you agree to this policy.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, password (stored securely hashed), and optionally your name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and profile information from Google.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use our service, including sprite prompts you submit, generation settings (size, style), and which features you use. Generated sprites and related assets are stored to provide your dashboard and export functionality.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details. We receive and store your billing email, subscription status, and transaction history.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our sprite generation service
• Process transactions and manage your credits and subscriptions
• Send account-related notifications (e.g., password reset, billing)
• Improve our service, fix bugs, and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
• Prevent fraud and ensure security

4. AI Processing

Sprite generation uses AI models operated by third-party providers (e.g., Replicate). Prompts and generation parameters may be sent to these providers to produce your sprites. We do not use your content to train AI models. Generated assets are stored in cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) for your use.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers: Stripe (payments), Replicate (AI generation), Cloudflare (storage, hosting), and database providers, under contracts that limit use to providing our service
• Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights and safety

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated assets for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and request deletion of your data. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, tax records).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we strive to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children

Animyx is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
